Summers in Jagadhri can be very hot, almost as hot as Delhi, with temperatures rising above 45 degrees Celsius. Rainy season normally begins in the end of June or beginning of July and lasts for a couple of months. Winter begins in November, and similar to Delhi, winters can be very severe with temperatures dropping to even 3 degrees Celsius!
Even though industrialization has gained prominence over the years with trees being cut down to accommodate several housing projects, expansion of roads, and construction of malls and other structures, Jagadhri still boasts of greenery and flora and fauna even now. The landscape of the town is covered with wheat, rice, and paddy fields and plantations making the town look as if it was painted in green color!
